This in from Dr. Andy Cornish (Dir. Conservation)
“I have a proposition for you. In the course of my work
and from time to time, I meet people who say they are
really concerned about the poor state of HK waters
(pollution, rubbish, no fish etc) and want to do
something about it.
I am thinking about inviting a group of such people
together to talk about what can be done, and hopefully
for them to tackle a specific issue. That doesn’t mean
that I want the group to help necessarily with one of
our campaigns, but WWF is too often the only voice on
marine issues, and we can’t try and solve everything
ourselves. I feel a small group of intelligent and
determined people could be quite effective in solving
certain issues.”
If interested in coming to the first meeting then pls communicate with Andy Cornish.
