When it is safe to approach a King Cobra!

      This juvenile King Cobra [first identified as Banded Krait, which it resembles] was safe to approach as he has a mouth full of Slug snake.  He won't need dinner for a few days.

      This was taken near LaiChiWo pier, Sept 2012.

          A snake eating it’s own kind! Ah, this is the one i heard from the meet-up last week.
