To Hike the Hills for Hospice
Want to enjoy a wonderful day outdoors with your family and friends, and to give support to the terminal patients and the families losing their loved ones? Do come and join our Hike for Hospice on Sunday 31 January 2010!
Routes in Tai Lam Country Park
Organised by Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care, the annual Hike for Hospice will take walkers along some lesser known routes in Tai Lam Country Park. Hikers have a choice of 3 routes: Scenic Route (12km), Competitive Route (15km) and Arduous Route (18km). Tai Lam Country Park is home to a wide variety of wild life and varied vegetation and offers an ideal opportunity to escape from Hong Kong’s concrete jungle. The start and finish will be located at the barbecue site in the park where the traditional Curry Lunch will be ready to whet walkers’ well earned appetites.
A Gathering for Hikers
Being organised for 18 years, Hike for Hospice has become an annual gathering with family and friends for many hikers. They would enjoy the complimentary breakfast, return transportation services and of course the traditional curry lunch provided by the Society and also receive a commemorative T-shirt and a Certificate of Completion with their team photo on it. Those fastest teams and individuals, and the top fundraiser will be awarded with prizes and souvenirs.
Act Now!
The money raised from the event will go to support the Society to maintain the quality service to the terminal patients at Bradbury Hospice and the bereavement counselling services to the families losing their loved ones. So act now to join us! For details
